Max is absolutely, positively in love with Legos! All this week, he has worked on building towers at least twice a day. He gets a bit frustrated when he can't put them together the way he wants, but overall he has a blast. James worked on a tower with him a couple of days ago, and when I asked Max if Daddy helped him make the tower, he said, "No! Mine!" Guess he wanted all the credit.
Speaking of James, he and the kids are really getting close these days. For awhile there, Max was a Mommy-only kind of guy, but now he asks where James is when he's waiting for him to get home ("Where Dada?") and screams for Dada when I'm doing something he doesn't like, like brushing his teeth or making him put his pants on. He also loves to go hang out in the garage with James.
My Holly has had a rough few days. She had a fever all weekend which spiked up to 104 (!!) Sunday night, and vomited all night Sunday and most of the day Monday. My usually happy girl didn't smile for about 15 hours -- it was so hard to see her feeling so bad. Thankfully, she's feeling better after one day home with me and another at my office.
My daily blog has turned into a monthly one. Oh, well. I guess it's better than nothing!
